St. Michael's Cave is a cave located in the Upper Rock Nature Reserve in Gibraltar, and has interested visitors ever since the Romans. Its name is said to have come from a similar grotto in Gargano De La Pulla, Italy, now used as the Sanctuary of Monte Sant'Angelo where St. Michael is said to have appeared.
